With the positive development of its confectionery division, Konimex continues to expand its business into the snack industry in 1994, by establishing the Sobisco factory to manufacture healthy and quality snacks.

Snips Snaps was introduced to the market as a premium quality family snack, with a choice of crackers, and wafers with assorted flavors.

The Diasweet range of products from Sobisco are the company’s answer to the steadily increasing demand for healthier food products. To meet various demands for a sugar-free and low calorie sweetener, Konimex introduced Diasweet Sweetener range of products.  Suitable for daily use, baking and cooking with a sucralose-based variant, and a stevia leaves-based natural sweetener. Healthy biscuits, wafer, cookies, and baked snacks are introduced under the Diasweet litebite brand. All of its products are sugar-free, cholesterol-free, high in fiber, and rich in flavors. In the beverage category Konimex introduced Diasweet litesip, a healthy, sugar-free and high in fiber powder-based drink. Available in milk and an assortment of fruit and vegetable juices.
